Here is the Necklace and Bracelet I made for my Swap Partner Kimbo for the Accessories Swap.
This was my first attempt with Wire. I really enjoyed it so I've started planning some for Christmas Gifts.
"how it was made" on post 16.

Looks great ~ I have always wanted to try with wire as I like to make jewelry, what size wire did you use?

Lovely pieces.
I am very intrigued by wire crochet, but I worry that my hands would get sore, more from the wire than the effort. I do plan to try something simple someday just to give it a try.

Thanks everyone for the complements.
I watched this Video on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZMh1YqX8GE
then kind of took off on my own with alot of trial error.
I think :think I used 28 gauge silver wire. I don't have the spool anymore, used it all up, but 28 does sound right.
The square beads are Milefori glass that I found at Michael's. They have several colors that are beautiful.
The funny thing is I think Kim and I both constructed our necklaces the same way that we sent oneanother.
Beads corcheted onto a single crochet strand. Made three of them and then braided them together. Attached hooks to the end.
I must say I think Kimbo's hook attachment was much cleaner and nicer than mine.
Wire was fun to work with but I did have start over a few times till I got the hang of it and figured out how long and how to place teh beads. BTW there is no frogging with wire. If I messed up I had to cut the beads out and start over again.
