Afghans for Afghans

I am going to start using my "yarn stash" to make afghans. I found a pattern called "stained glass" afghan that is perfect for small amounts of yarn. I will probably make some "ripple" afghans using coordinating colors of left over yarn.

I have a couple patterns for using up yarn. They will be used! (Eventually!:lol ) I'd love to see pictures when they are made!

The next due date for Afghans for Afghans, is October 1st in the U.S, September 22 for Canada. They sent around 2,500 afghans, hats, vests, sweaters, socks and mittens this last shipment!

Thanks Amber, I started my Stained Glass Afghan after finding the pattern for you the other day. I have completed one panel so far. Will have it ready for the next shipment. :cheer

i have never contributed to them, but plan to send at least one afghan this time. Maybe 2.
