Eva...Thank you so much for posting this pattern. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. I just made it for my sister. It is also my first thread project and it came out awesome :cheer ,even if I did make a mistake (which I kept in). Instead of having six points mine has 7. :think I kept it because it looks great. If you did not have the pattern you'd never now I made a mistake. I don't care it's perfect!:c9

Not a silly question :)
You make a sl st between the first and last star point and then continue making the marker from there without ending and fasten off the thread.
Hope this clarifies. Thank you for showing an interest in my bookmark :hook

Hello Eva
Your starflower bookmark is really pretty. I'm attempting it now and have a stupid question for you.
At the end of round 4, where it says "Join", does this mean I need to put in an additional slip stitch after the 6th sl st I've just made? If so, where does it need to go?
Sorry! As you can tell, I'm a beginner ... :)
EDIT: because I posted a second question which I've answered for myself!

Hi E-J! You don't have to join anymore because you already did a sl st in the last sc. I tested this pattern for Eva since we are good friends and she got the threads she used for her bookmarkers from me. Try her other bookmark patterns specially the Star Flower Bookmark-bigger and better! :-)

Hi Sandy,
Here's a picture of the button you're looking for (you'll find this on the toolbar just above your message composition window):
http://www.crochetville.org/forum/images/editor/createlink.gif
That being said, however, you should know that in order for your pictures to display properly in your messages, they need to be hosted on a site that allows hyperlinking, which means that posting the url address here (using that nifty button, which will bring up a popup window for you to paste your photo's address in) will "feed" the picture directly from that site. Yahoo does not allow this, so you would need to use another service. There are several free ones available, such as photobucket and flickr (to name a few off the top of my head), I believe addresses for some are provided in the FAQs. You also need to make sure you save the pics so they are no larger than 480 pixels on the largest side (horizontally or vertically).
