I'm in the market for a toilet tank cover pattern. I've just started searching the net but haven't found anything as yet.
Would anyone have a link or suggest any books?
Thanks a bunch.

Funny, I am making a toilet tank doily for a christmas present! But that's not what you asked for...hmm...
Here's one
http://www.geocities.com/rainlm/bathset.htm
These are hard to find, I find seat covers, tissue covers, and rugs, but only the one tank cover.
If it were me....tanks come in different shapes/sizes...for example, I have 3 in my house, one is trapezoidal, and none are the same dimensions. I think you'd be better off taking measurements, picking your favorite stitch, and making a custom one.
Good luck!

Hey thanks for the help :hug Actually a tank doily sounds really cute. Are you using a pattern or going with the flow of your needle?

I made up a filet pattern with a sea shell motif. I was inspired after a visit to my BIL & SIL, they had some sea shells displayed on the top of their guest bathroom tank.

Above is my pattern (just a graph) if you're interested. I used #10 thread, a #9 hook, it's about 6 1/2" x 19" without a border, I was going to add a shell border to finish it off. It's 24 squares by 76 squares, I worked it in the "short row" direction using a 3-ch mesh, so chain 77, dc in the 8th ch from hook, and you're off and running.
