Vicki, unfortunately, I don't think you're going to be able to find any officially licensed team patterns. Let me explain why.

The logos of sports teams are trademarked and copyrighted. Patterns featuring these teams cannot be distributed without permission of the trademark/copyright owners. Acquiring this permission usually means purchasing a licensing agreement, which is almost always incredibly expensive. Most companies would not be able to recoup this cost by selling patterns.

Some people do make unlicensed patterns available. But to protect Crochetville from legal issues related to contributory trademark/copyright infringement, we do not allow any links to, hints on where to find, or other type of discussion of these patterns. This applies to posts, PMs, and emails.

Trademark and copyright infringement are very serious issues, and there can be stiff legal penalties per violation (each time a pattern is distributed). We do not want Crochetville to be at risk. I would like to ask each member that if you ever receive a PM or email from another member with information about unlicensed patterns, please forward that to me immediately.

It's very important that I educate the members doing this about the legal risk to which they are subjecting Crochetville. Every now and then, people will post this information publicly in a thread. In those cases, these people usually just don't realize the issues, so I talk with them privately. They're usually very sorry that they unknowingly put Crochetville at risk.

But the people who send this information via PM and email usually (not always) know full well that what they are doing is wrong. I have no way to know what they're sending via PM or email unless the member who receives the PM/email forwards it to me. The first time I learn that a member is doing this behind the scenes, I'll also nicely educate them about the issues. But if they persist in doing this behind the scenes, they place their Crochetville membership at risk. Although I would hate to do it, I would have to remove forum access for anyone who continually violates our copyright/trademark guidelines behind the scenes after I have nicely asked them to stop.

So to protect Crochetville so that we can continue to exist long into the future, please forward me any PMs/emails you receive in which another member sends you a copy of a copyrighted pattern or sends you an unlicensed pattern of trademarked logos/characters/etc.
