I'm hoping someone here will have a suggestion for me. I'm part of a craft exchange. My recipient has 3 kids. A 6 yr old boy, 5 yr old girl and a 3 yr old boy. For the older boy I'm crocheting a tictactoe/checkers board and for the girl I'm crocheting a tea set - both patterns are from freepatterns.com. I'm at a loss on what to make the younger boy. They are from the south so it's too warm to make clothing for him, plus I don't think it would be fair for two of them to get toys and the other clothing, KWIM?

So I'm looking for ideas or patterns for something a 3 year old would like - preferrably a toy.

Thanks a bunch, Linda

He might like the school bus or the fireman bear or snoozy puppy or the creepy crawlies, all on free patterns.

This mini airplane is cute:

How about a snake:

As stated above, there's lots to pick from on CPC.

For the record, even people in the south wear/need hats, mittes/gloves, scarfs, and sweaters/coats in the winter. ;)

I'm in the south! My 2 1/2 yr old LOVES hats!!! He also loves stuffed animals and cars. I like the idea of a snake or an airplane.
