Problems with thread poncho

I need some help with a thread poncho that I have made for my daughter. The last two rows just hang in there with no fall. How do I make them flow better ? I will try to post a picture to show what I mean.:eek

My first question is, Have you washed it yet? Maybe it will soften up and flow better.
