Hi,
I'm going to make a child scarf for a 3 year old boy. I'm looking for the

type of scarf with a Character on it....like a teddy bear for example. (the character is usally on the edges of the scarf)
I searched crochet pattern central, its adult stuff mainly. And other places, but not luck.

Can someone please help me find one. My husband is asking me for this scarf "now" its for his friends son! It was suppppose to be for Christmas!! :think Sshhhh ....Men!

Thankyou!

I've seen some cute kids scarves here on the 'Ville that people have done - school bus, pencil, aligator, snake. If you're looking for a scarf pattern with a licensed (trademarked) character on it like Spiderman, etc., - - those cannot be posted on Crochetville because of copyright issues. You might see if LeisureArts has any books with trademarked characters.

Here are some links to interesting scarves or ideas for scarves:

Here is a blanket with teddy bear and kitty appliques, you could make a plain scarf and add these appliques to each end

You can always graph your own teddy or frog or whatever here:

Also you can look through fridgies and other appliques at CPC:

http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory.php

Then just sew it on to the bottom end of your scarf.

You could also adapt the bus scarf to make a truck.

there are plenty there to choose from. I am now almost done with the scarf, I've been working on it since this afternoon....So, I'll only be needing the face now. :yes
