plain toddler beanie/skull hat in sc or hdc

Hi everyone! I am new here and am looking for a very basic crocheted beanie/skull hat pattern for my 18 month old that I can add earflaps to. I have made it before but just can't seem to find the pattern. Any help is very appreciated Thanks
