A while back I bought a thrift store sweater for the yarn, I've been wanting to make a blouse out of it in the worst way but couldn't find a pattern that I liked so I just winged it.

I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out. I'd like to make a couple more of these and play around with some lighter yarns, maybe some thin cotton.

Thanks, I plan to write it up, it's really simple. I'm about halfway through writing up a V-stitch blouse/tanktop that I'm making to hopefully submit to a magazine or something, and then this one is next and I'll post it here.

Wow, awesome job. Looks great and since it's short sleeved it should be cooler for spring wear.

Looks great! I'll be looking for the pattern!
By the way....how do you tell which sweaters are good to buy for that? I've been wanting to try it, but I don't know how to choose the "right" sweaters.
