AJ's wristbag..in the round

Well, I finally tried to make one in the round...and you were all right who suggested it...wow, it was easy. I will write that onto the pattern page tomorrow. I love how the veriegated cotton turned out. but I did the straps plain.

That's great. Can't wait to see it. I hate to sew pieces together, so I tried my own one in the round. It came out fine, but too small. And I don't think I could ever really explain how I did it. Looking forward to seeing your pattern.

I too tried one in the round using the same # of stitches, etc. Came out nice but I did NOT think to try it with variegated or patterning yarn. Very nice!!

I used the Bernat Handicrafter cotton. I have made all my bags out of cotton so far. I like the weight of the cotton bags. The veriagated thing was funny tho, cos when I finished one ball and went to start the other the yarn pattern was reversed...so I worked from the opposite end of the yarn and it fit in perfectly.
