I've been looking for this pattern for a while now. I bought a little mini-booklet of patterns at Walmart in 2004, and made this lovely piece. However, I've since lost the book. If anyone knows where I can go to buy the book with this specific pattern in it, or maybe has an old one they wouldn't mind selling to me... let me know!

I think it was Red Heart, but I could be wrong.

Here's my 'artistic rendition' of the pattern:

:cheer If it is just the basic Ripple you want, I have a very simple pattern.
PM me if you would like a copy.
It is just the instructions on how to do the ripple and you add your own colour scheme.
There is not Copyright problem with this pattern because I wrote it myself.
You would be free to do what you like with it, as long as you do not sell the pattern, just give it away.

This is a Baby blanket I made with the pattern.

Have fun.

I suppose it's kind of like a regular ripple. I just remember the pattern having different numbers of rows for the colors. Like, the middle sections were much bigger than the end sections... I just don't remember the numbers.

If I can figure that out, then a regular ripple pattern would work just fine, actually. (Any idea?) I'm hoping to make it large enough (wide and long) to cover about a queen sized bed, if not larger. I think the number of rows for each color were exponential... I think. It was 3 years ago.. but I made three of them in about a month.

If you have a ripple pattern, you might use this website to "map" your rows using the colors you like. It should come close to what you originally saw. http://www.kissyourshadow.com/stripe_maker.php
