I did two more pair (the two are the same, pic on my blog) of flip flops. I ditched the Lion pattern and just used a K hook, two strands together and SC around the strap twice. Then I used 1 strand of Moda Deal Jai Alai and did around the toe area (cushioning). The flip flops were $2.99 at Traget and they had a ton of colors available.

Believe it or not, one ball of Moda Dea Jai Alai did three pairs of flip flops and I have enough left over for a fourth.

Those are cute!! I'm trying so hard to avoid the temptation of new projects since I have so many UFOs but maybe this would be quick enough to do in between!

I don't know if you have a Hobby Lobby near by, but Flip Flops are on sale there this week for 1.99 and they have 7 colors available. I was thinking I might need to go there...... :)

What a great idea! I dislike wearing my flip flops here in europe because they are so "american" but perhaps gussied up I could start a new trend....hmm - seeing what a lot of people wear here it should not be too hard with flip flops as great as the ones you made - good job!
