I want to make a hoodie sweater that I saw in a Delia's catalog... I will post links to the pics of the sweater. I know it's not crochet, but I'd like to replicate it as close as possible. I know EVERYONE and their dog is going to link me to "Crochet Pattern Central". I looked there. I looked on Google as well. It seems like sweaters like this are only available to knitters. I am tempted to learn how to knit just to make sweaters that I like.

I also forgot to mention that I am a plus size, I don't know if that matters or not, but I'm an 18/20.

Here are two hoodies from Garn studio, not exactly what you're looking for but it might help?

They have some other sweater type things that look nice, they dont have hoods but maybe you could improvise!

I made one from a booklet called Crochet for Everyone by Better Homes and Gardens. Its a hoodie but doesn't have the ribbed details or the button front. Very basic.

maybe find a sweater pattern you like and add a hood general following the instructions from a hoodie pattern. How about using the Rosemary sweater from the cover of the Fall 2007 Interweave Crochet magazine and then adding a hood:

(look through the back issues online for other ideas)
