Hee. I had these little Russian Babooshka/Matryoshka dolls and turned them into stitch markers. Waddya think?

Love them!! Those are wonderful, if I needed stitch markers (hmm, I wonder why I haven't needed them yet?) I'd be asking if you wanted to sell a couple, lol!

Hi Bec,

Just to let you know, they are Matryoshka Dolls. Babooshka is a scarf my Polish mother in law would wear, lol! I love them! They are so cute!!

Call me dumb, but are stitch markers only for knitters? I have seen ones that aren't hooks, but loops. You stitch them in? Not quite sure how they are used. :ideanot

No, not dumb and not just for knitters. They are great for marking the beginning of rounds when making hats etc...
As for the loops(unless they open somewhere)? Beats me, I would think stitching it in would be feasable but maybe someone else knows.

if you stitched them in.. you wouldnt be able to get them back out.. for knitters they slide on the needle .. and then slide back off.. for crochet you need the hook to place it in your work..
