I made these for a friend with a blind husband. Going with the idea that his senses would be sharper I made sure there are no irritating seams and the tongue is sewn so it cannot slip down. Even the beads are textured to give him something to touch.

Great colors and style and how thoughtful of you to think of the "extra" things because the recipient is blind.

They look good. What type of yarn did you use?

They look beautiful and soft. Kudos to you for thinking carefully of your recipient, also. I'm sure he'll like them (as will his family)

I used this big ball of fuzzy stuff my Mom got to work with that was too annoying for her and combined it with a one pound Caron. It made it MUCH easier to work with!
These are all old projects so I can tell you that he loves the slippers and wears them constantly. lol

This was an experiment. I wanted to see if I could make a slipper for him with lots of sensory touches that still looked nice to someone with sight.

The basis is a pattern from a book I have for size and then I take it from there. I have made so many different slippers from that pattern. lol
