I think the only way you can get this pattern (http://www.herrschners.com/products/product.aspx?sku=200236) is through the kit, which I really don't want because I'm drowning in yarn as it is (not to mention the horror stories of their kits), so I wanted to check here first and see if anyone has the pattern and would be willing to part with it. I wish they offered the pattern independently; or maybe it's in a book of theirs???

Anyway, if anyone has one they'd like to give/sell or knows if it's in a book, I'd love to know.

Thanks a bunch.

I have some Herrschners books with ripple afghans. I'll look through and see what I can find. I think if you get a good picture and a ripple pattern you could make it. I've done things that way and got afghans that turned out great, but weren't the same.

I know this may not help you a lot, but that pattern is in the crochet magazine: "Crochet Patterns by Herschners", in the Jan/Feb. 1988 issue. In the magazine it was called Rose Ripple afghan. I bought my copyof the magazine on Ebay.

This pattern was also in Herrschner's 1990 Calendar. I have that calendar.

Thanks for all the responses. If Hookmaster can't locate her copy, I'll pester the next person in line. ;)

I never knew Herrschners had a magazine. Thanks for the info, Cindy & Sprtsbear. At least I'll know what to look for in case I can't get it here.

I'm looking forward to using up some of that Christmas yarn!!!

I have this pattern in the magazine and made it a few years ago and didn't get to keep it very long. Someone needed a gift and bought it. This reminded me of it. Now I need to make another one for me this time.

Hello Everyone,
I too am looking for this pattern and would appreciate any help in finding it. I know that it has been months since the original post but I am being hopeful any way. I adore this pattern and wish they sold it in a book and not a kit.

Thanks for any help you are willing to give

I also love the pattern but I hate the Herrschner brand yarns and refuse to buy the kit. I understand that is the best way for them to selln it but I had so much trouble with their yarns that I just want the pattern.

I have been looking for this pattern for awhile too. I don't want to buy the whole kit, I prefer to pick out the yarn I use myself, rather than have it pre-selected. If anyone has any suggestions in finding it, I would appreciate it. I've already looked on Ebay (and did not feel like spending $26 for the magazine), Amazon, Abe's Books, and many other sites, with no luck.

The Herschners Jan/Feb 1988 magazine is at the site www.crochetdoilies.com site for $4.99 plus shipping. I just ordered mine and I would like to thank everyone at crochetville for telling me what to find the pattern in.
