I really like that Lion Brand one (although I'd skip using Homespun and use some other yarn).

Hi,
I'm new here, and I know it's been a while since this request was posted, but I thought I'd answer.
I (and another woman at work) are making a log cabin afghan. I found the pattern on Instructables. It's made in big squares, and it's going to be a huge afghan. :)

I'll post pictures of mine when it's done, if anyone's interested.

Here's the link to the pattern and pictures of a completed one:

I haven't crocheted anything big since before my daughter was born (she's 5), and this is the pattern that really made me want to start again. :)

I just saw this same pattern in the Hershners cataloge as a kit, I was so tempted, but I just really wanted the pattern, not the yarn. I almost ordered it, but didnt really want all the yarn. Then I saw this, how funny is that!! Thank you for posting this link, I have already printed it off too!!:hug:hug
