I made this bracelet with the buttons my secret pal sent me. It's my first try crocheting with buttons and I think it turned out OK!

I had shell buttons like that in white. I made an ankle bracelet for my daughter with them. She wears it for beach and casual wear in the summer.

:ty everyone for your kind comments! I have to say, I got the idea from Fiona, Mumbles17, who was my SP and very kindly sent me the buttons. She made an even nicer one which you can see here (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=5742)! I think I will make an anklet to match although I think I will add more buttons closer together to get a really tinkley effect!

Fiona, at the minute I'm working on a bag using a material which is like plastic ribbony twine (if that makes sense!) that I got at a hardware shop but it's taking a while as it's hard to work with!
