I sent in a crocheted beach bag for my daughter's school raffle. The teacher liked it so much she ordered one for herself! I made this one in a marathon corchet session. Dern procrastination! Lol.

What a great bag - excellent job on it! I like the idea of alternating the color for the mesh part with the darker color as the base!

I love that beach bag! What pattern did you use?

It is my own pattern. I made up the first one on the spur of the moment and only remembered to write down the directions for the handles (so that I could make them the same). This second version came out a tad bit bigger than the first. I need to make it a few more times to get something consistant out of it. Perhaps a large and small version? I bought more yarn to make some for my kiddos. So hopefully I will get the pattern straightened all out through more experimentation.
