Hi everybody! forgive me if i posted about this before, my brain has skipped a few stitches this week.

I am making blankets to honor Kassandra Okvath (http://www.lovecomesfirst.com)by sending them to the UMC Medical Center in Tucson, AZ. I want to make as many brightly colored blankets as possible. And I mean bright. the brighter, the better!

If you'd like to help out and send a blanket (any size is great, 36X36 even better!) please zip me an email and I will be happy to tell you where to send it! It need not be a fancy or time consuming pattern to really brighten up the day of a child at UMC. :yay

thanks!

Hey, Ro, I live in Tucson, so if I can help you out locally, let me know. I work just a mile and a half from UMC, and my friend/neighbor works there.

ooo, thanks desertcrocheter, i will definitely keep that in mind! thanks too to wendy and tween, i will definitely check out those patterns!

i finished kassandra's blanket (http://www.psf.homestead.com/kassandraokvathblanket.html)just about an hour ago, woo hoo! i can't wait to get started on blankets for the hospital too. i already have one done, it's a smaller toddler sized butterfly.

even if all you can contribute is a big granny square blanket in bright colors, please think about sending one in! every little blankie helps :)

hugs!
