it takes alot to break on ewith NORMAL use.. the one Kari had that broke a book fell on..

i have 14 of these hooks i have yet to break a single one

If you're really worried about breaking one, try a P hook first. Besides, his are much prettier than the Ps in the stores. :)h

I emailed Bill a couple days ago about another hook... mentioned that I knew he must be swamped with orders from Crochetville ladies...

He replies back, and asks what C'Ville is... So I tell him, and direct him to this forum, Later I get a response saying "You couldn't buy bettter advertising"

Testemonials are so important - hearing about the hooks here is what led me to him... I bet he's gained a lot of business thru here!

And I want to say (just in case the buyer is a member here) that whoever scooped up #4 Cocobolo in Size G has me so jealous I could spit. That's one beautiful hook.

I don't know about everyone else but I am... lol. I'd like a full set in the Brazilian Tulip wood. Have an H, I, and J so far.

But then I go back in to see if he's updated and I see all the Cocobolo's and think I need a set of those too... And the Bocote's.

I think there could be worse things to collect. At least these I can use, unlike the collection of Beauty and the Beast snow globes I HAD to have that now sit in a case in my room. They're to young for my now and too nice to risk keeping in the girls rooms, lol. Poor things.

I'm totally addicted. I am so excited to have a full set of them now cuz I would get all depressed when a pattern called for a size I didn't have! I just love using them. They feel like butter in my hands and are so pretty to work with. the yarn slips on them so nicely and the end of the hooks are tapered perfectly so hooking flows easily. I wish he made them in M so I could have one of those too!!!!!

I love all the woods. Cocobolo's are always so pretty. The Bocote's are amazing. Purpleheart is the coolest wood by far. I have an African Blackwood and it's really awesome. The Brazilian Tulipwoods have great wood grain patterns on them. I like the Cacique, and the Honduras Rosewood, and Caviuna Micarium, and.....oh geez. they are all just sooooooo beautiful!!!

Poor Bill, he's working himself to the bone! We sure are keeping him busy!

**** When I sent my payment last night I also emailed Bill and said "I wanted to mention that I found your through C'ville."

His reply:
"Seems a lot of people are finding me through Crochetville. Hope not too many, I'm getting maxed out!"

Well now that's gotta be a good thing.

Elizabeth - I have thought about that! I need to make myself a hook case. I'd like to get my Step-Dad to make me a hard case. And then I'll have to make myself become very vigilant about placing the hooks in their correct slots each time I use one so I don't mix them all up. Right now I'm just going to use the holders they come in to kep them sorted out.

Stacy - I use the black holders also... All of my hooks are either cocobolo or cherry, and although I'm getting better at distinguishing them out of thier cases, I just stuck a scrapbooking letter on the outside of each case so I can grab the size I need quickly and easily.

You won't be disappointed! They are just gorgeous. I don't use anything but my TOTC hooks now. Except for smaller thread projects. I'm in love :)
