I am trying to figure out how to make a hat similar to the one on this site:
http://www.curliegirl.com/
I think I can manage to the brim, it is from there on I may have difficulties.
Thanks for any help you can give.:)

I don't know if there's one exactly like you want, but this site has links to alot of different hats:coffee http://home.inreach.com/marthac/ahat.html:hook

The hat would be started on the top of the head worked in Dcs or SCs (depending where you live)and increased until it was big enough to fit your head then worked straight to the length you want then the brim is a quick increase then keep increasing until it is wide enough. Make a kids one first so it is not so big to unravel if you have to.
I can be more precise if you need but I will need a couple of days to work it out.
I will be in Auckland all day tomorrow and am looking after Grandies on Wednesday so it might be the weekend before I get to it.
Let me know what thickness of yarn and hook size you want to use.
Have fun.

:ty I think I might try an increase in every second stitch and if that does not do the trick I can always try it in every stitch.
Thanks for your help:)
(This hat would match the little wristbag I made the other day, otherwise it would not matter this much)
