I have a Lacis rosewood hook (My first one!) and I was wondering if there's any special care that needs to be taken so the wood doesn't dry out or anything? I live in Arizona and it gets hot and dry, and I'd hate for my hook to become brittle. I don't know a thing about it, so if someone could give me some advice I'd appreciate it

rub it with some wax paper occaisionally to keep the moisture sealed in and keep it sliding nice
