felted crochet hook roll (Berroco's Kluster)

Thought this would keep my hooks in order (click photos to enlarge, last one is before felting):

I adapted the Berroco pattern (link here (http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/kluster/kluster.html)) to make it a bit longer to hold more hooks (unfelted it was 10.5" x 18.25"). Also added a SC border and did the button loop as part of the border. Used Cascade 220 yarn in Mango and Cocunut Ice which felted beautifully in a front-loader after 1 cycle at 60C. The large purple button is 1.5" (38cm) diameter.

If I make this again I'd knit the main body rather than crochet it to get a thinner, more dense fabric. This roll is chunky ! :lol

I have got to make me one of these. I have so many loose hooks and I am trying to carry them all in one zipped pouch but then I have to dump them all out just to find the one I need.

Thanks for your kind comments everyone - the colours were a straight copy from Beyonce's final Versace dress in the 'Crazy in Love' video. Can't afford Versace so this will have to suffice :hook
