I posted a while back looking for this particular type hat. I am looking for a pattern for a "plain" hat like one of these.

I have looked at all of the sites provided last time but I have not found what I am looking for.

I have Bernat WW - Camo color --- So I tried to make it myself...A designer I am not!! I measured his head (over his ears) ~ 22 inches. I started at the top with increases ~ Too small. So I tried bigger hook ~ too big. More increases, less increases. Ok now I try to work bottom up ~ :thair. I CAN'T DO THIS!!! How about 2 strands???? :eek Now it fits my 6 year old girl!!!!

PLEASE HELP ME! He has been begging me for this and only this. He has watched me struggle and he feels bad. He shouldnt feel bad. I should be able to do this!

I went to my local library & found these books very helpful in finding easy hat patterns:

Hooked Hats: 20 easy crochet projects by Margaret Hubert

The Happy Hooker Stitch N Bitch Crochet by Debbie Stoller

They both have beanie patterns that looked easy to do. Check that out to see if they will be for you! :hook Good Luck!

I use the one that is on crochetville that CroJulie posted. I have probably made 20 plus and I am always making more for my son and his friends
