View Full Version : Looking for shell afghan BUT not regular, read on PLEASE

Okay, I KNOW I have lost my mind....not in dispute here...lol..BUT I KNOW I have seen this afghan pattern that goes something like this,chain desired length, 3dc,ch2,3dc sk 3chains, dc, skip 3 chains.....and I cant FIND it...it is driving me CRAZY, yea yea, I know I am crazy already...lol..someone PLEASE point me in the direction of this, PLEASE....its NOT the traditional shell where you sc, but has a dc and a 3dc chain 2 and 3 dc, I KNOW it is something like this...anywho, I need it for a fast progect....anyone know what I am requesting??????????????? :think

I will have to look through my patterns I know i have made this before but its been a few years. Let me start digging and if I have it you can have it.

Hi Tammy, I THINK I can go from that, that one seems to work in panels, so I think I can just make my chain from it, thanks dearheart!

Do you have the 63 Squres to make an Heirloom afghan book? #24 is something similar, but more dc in between the shells then what you were thinking. It's called Climbing Shells.

Hi! You are NOT crazy! When you posted your request I knew I'd seen something similar recently. I've been searching through all my saved patterns since then, and I finally found a pattern from a member here (frogrockr) that is similar to what you're looking for.
