can somebody tell me what the name of this pattern is? Is there a free pattern in the net?

I think I have this pattern in a book from Leisure Arts "The Best of Maggie Weldon".
It is pictured about halfway down on this page.

I just had to figure out how to look at her website & was able to do so - saw that she calls this afghan the 'pinwheel' one, so I'm going to do a search for a pinwheel g-sq. to see if I can find it!

I think it look like the picture from Mary Weldons Pattern. I will look if I can bye this book by amazon :think

The Maggie Weldon pattern is similar, but it's not as ruffly. I like the ruffles, myself. It makes it very girly. I've emailed her asking if she would sell the pattern.

Hi Kerstin - What a pretty pic in your post =). Glad you like the Maggie Weldon flower afghan & that it will work for you. To me, it doesn't look like the one in the pic you originally posted as it doesn't have the ruffle effect, it has more of a spiral effect to it instead, or at least to me anyway.
One of these days, the flower in your original pic may turn up!
