thread pattern suggestions

i just got a TON of free! :hook dark green thread but i'm not sure what to do with it. does anyone know of any cool thread patterns that aren't doilies?

You could make Christmas ornaments--little trees, or "jackets" for regular glass bulbs. (I don't have patterns, but I'm sure they aren't hard to find.)

If you have enough, you could also make a purse or tote (hold two or even three strands together for strength). Thread is nice for mini gift bags, cell-phone cases, or bookmarks, too.
