Here is my red scarf with grey fringe for my husband. I used Patons Chetland chunky tweed yarn in deep red for the scarf and then the fringe is Patons Chetland chunky tweed in charcoal. I just used a hdc stitch to make it, and it made a nice ribbed texture.

It is very handsome! Nice color and the fringe really "sets" it off. And, it will keep him warm!

Looks like a great guy scarf. I also like the look of rows of hdc.
