Call for Submissions-Black Purl Magazine Spring 2008
The theme of our Spring 2008 issue is Sir (Madam) Mix-a-Lot.
Since many of our readers enjoy many crafts, this issue will feature mixed media projects; that is, those that use two or more media. Showcase your creativity by incorporating knit, crochet, embroidery, beading, and found objects into a project. Some examples could include: art quilt blocks embellished with beads, combined knit and crocheted wearables, embroidered and painted artist trading cards, or a felted piece with non-felted components. In other words, be creative and mix it up.
Issue: Spring/April 2008
Deadline: Final submissions are due February 29, 2008.
