I made these using Cindy's pattern (http://crochetchronicles.blogspot.com/005/04/layered-dimensions-crochet-flower.html) and some embroidery floss I had languishing in a drawer in my sewing room.

The colors were dictated by what I had on hand. :)

This pattern is super-easy and quick to do. I blocked them both because I found I liked the way they looked that way better. The orange one has very long petals in the back because I had a lot of orange, but not too much of the yellow or red! :)

Making flowers is one of my favorite things to do. They're just so pretty :) And your flowers are just that.. so very pretty :manyheart

Very springy! Anybody have a pattern for a poppy? A friend of mine has just decided to do her bedroon over in a poppy theme, and I figured two red petals and a black center can't be too hard to do, can it?
