so.......I stopped crocheting for the longest time it seems and I'm having a hard time crocheting I was wondering if anyone had some simple patterns that could help me get back into the swing of things any pattern is more than appreciated.

I'm looking for things like
-Hats
-gloves
-doilies
-cute little nick nacks

I like this hat. It's made with V-stitches and has a pretty flower and it goes fast for instant gratification:

The pattern is on her blog. I am terrible with hats and this is one of the 2 patterns I have done well.
Also crochet pattern central has a wealth of free pattern links to peruse. This way you can make your own determination on what you feel is easy or difficult.

well this pattern has no instructions but it will get you back into the swing of things ( this is what I did to teach myself crochet) I made a scarf starting two rows single crochet, then half double, then double crochet for a few rows, then triple crochet , and then worked my way back to single crochet, and when I was done I even went back and did scallops on the edges. it taught me how to change colors as well , plus it was actually a nice cozy warm scarf when I was done ( and it looked pretty cool as well)lol
