So I was out buying yarn to make a wrap for a friend and instead of the sport-weight I had intended to pick up when I left the house, I left my LYS with 1250 yards of the most beautiful lace-weight hand-dyed variegated purple yarn.
Now I need a pattern that uses lace-weight yarn! I have been looking and most lacey crochet patterns use a heavier weight yarn. I would be willing to knit part of it, in fact I was thinking of knitting a rectangle and adding crocheted borders and/or motifs around it.
So I am looking for a rectangular wrap pattern that uses lace weight yarn. I think I will have to get more yarn, so if you know of one that needs more yardage let me know! The pattern does not need to be a free one, I am willing to purchase a pattern or, if necessary, a whole book. ;)

Any ideas? Thanks!

You could also double strand it with the same yarn or with another yarn to increase the weight.
