I recently talked to someone who had knitted a wedding veil and I thought that maybe I could crochet one for my wedding. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any patterns yet. Does anyone know where I could find one?

Thanks,
Katrina

A couple of ideas:
#1, I think a freeform Irish Crochet veil would be incredible.

#2-Also beautiful, use one of the Irish Crochet background mesh patterns (I have seen quite a few-there are all sorts of online free pdf files with them) and crochet to whatever dimensions you want.

I agree...in fact, I'm slowly working on designing one for my dds when they grow up--fortunately, I have many years! :lol

If you want to keep it simple, pick an Irish mesh ground, and work it around concentric rings of Irish roses. Work the whole thing in thread at least size 30 or smaller.
