View Full Version : Let Us Hear YOUR Voice on Crochet Unraveled

I don't want everyone to get sick of hearing nothing but MY voice on Crochetville, so we've come up with an even easier way for YOU to be heard on Crochet Unraveled.
We now have a dedicated phone number that you can call to record listener comments for us to play on Crochet Unraveled. From within the United States, dial 1-206-333-1959. If you're outside the United States, I guess you know how to call US phone numbers from your country. :) You'll be able to talk for up to 5 minutes. (Standard long distance phone charges will apply, unless you have some sort of free calling plan.)
Question of the Week: What do you love most about Crochetville?
Please start off by introducing yourself: give us your real name (first or first & last, your choice), your Crochetville username, general area you're from (town/state or just state or country), and then answer the question or leave whatever other comment you have for us.

Oh, if any of you have a headset/microphone combination and use Skype, you can call this number from your Skype connection as well. :) Skype's per-minute rate to call a land phone is something like 2.1 cents per minute.

If you call and leave us a message, please post a message in this thread so I can check to make sure things are working properly, and I'm receiving all the recorded messages I'm supposed to.

I posted this late last night, so some people may not have seen it yet. Come on, dial the number! Let us hear from you! It's easy----I promise!
I really, really want to include some audio clips from Crochetville members in the next episode of Crochet Unraveled!

What a clever idea - I just got up and need more caffeine before I do anything. Today I will be running around with aunt and mother so I will be needing a cocktail (or two) when I come home :lol
I will definately do it - will let you know when (even though I hate my voice)

For those who are still a little nervous about calling in and leaving a message, I thought you might want to hear what Maria's message sounds like! (Maria did give me permission to let you all listen to her. Thanks, Maria!)
Click on the file link down below and it should play in your browser for you.

If we have recording facilities at our own homes, may we send you a wav file via email?
