well its done.. but on a blocking "board" if you will.. its just card board and straight pins LOL .. i was so excited about being done with this and how it turned out.... that I had to snap a pic and show it already..

its navy cotton thread (#10) and copper lurex held together.. with a raku heart crocheted on ..

I will take more pictures when its totally complete.. I plan to tie it in the back with a copper slik ribbon ..

WOW!!!! That's so pretty! Got a question though.....is lurex same as metallic thread? I see some here in Manila but it's called metallic thread.....it's only a bit thicker than sewing thread and it's got lots of colors and imported from Germany.

yes it is like that Jackie.. i know the metallic threads here have a textrue to them bu tthe lurex is fairly smooth .. either way.. i think it adds just enough sparkle to the project

ribbon.. i made loops at each end to run a ribbon thru so it would look good front and back .. i just couldnt get the back pic lol
