Water Bottle Cozy

I am trying to drink more water and I thought if I had a nice looking crochet cozy to put a bottle in, I'd make sure water was always near. So I found a pattern on Dot's site - By The Hook (http://bythehook.blogdrive.com/archive/102.html) and modified it a bit to fit the yarn I was using and the size bottle I use.

I used Aunt Lydia's Denim and an H hook. I just added a round of inc and instead of making the flowers, I did 2 rows of cross-stitch and then a row of sc. I also crocheted a handle instead of draw-strings. I got stuck on the flowers and didn't have the patience to figure them out. I do plan on figuring them out soon, though, as they are so nice looking.

Cute! I am so not going to miss the Arizona heat wave this summer... although I'm sure it's just as hot in Egypt but I'm only there for 5 weeks then it's back to jolly cool England! :)
