Yesterday I posted in my blog about trying to start, finish and mail something to my MIL for Mother's Day.
I was joking... kinda!

But - surprise surprise... I actually did it!!!!! :eek:eek:eek

Here's a pic of my MIL's shawl.

I took the pic at 1 am, and before I weaved my ends.

After weaving the ends & kissing it, I stuck it in a box, and ran down to the PO!
Yay!!! She lives in TX, so I'm hoping it'll be there Saturday!:manyheart

It is hard to tell, huh?!!!

It's RH Claret, so the pic of it on the beige background is more true than the other.

My dining room table is a cherry color, so I guess it ate the real color :lol

wow, yours is so beautiful !! I like your scalloped edging much better than the fringe they did in the pattern.

The shawl looks great! Congrats on finishiing it and getting it to the P.O. to mail in time....I mailed my Mums gift on Monday....she might get it by June for her Birthday :lol

Yes, she got it on Saturday!
She called to tell me that it's the most wonderful Mother's Day gift!
She loves it!!!
