Whew! I just finished making up the Eyelet Lace doily.

I got the pattern from Old-Time Crochet, Winter 1999. I used a size 10 thread and a 7 hook. It measures 22" across.

That is beautiful! I have a couple issues of Old-Time Crochet magazines I've kept, just because of the pineapple doilies! (I don't have that one, though I don't think. Which is okay I don't need any more!):P Your doily is gorgeous, though. :manyheart

I had seen this doily on ebay. I wanted the pattern and was about to ask the seller if I could buy the pattern when I saw that she was selling the magazine, too. I snatched it up and am very happy that I did. :clap :hook

Actually, it didn't take me that long. I started it last Thursday. In between, I made a couple of other projects, not to mention that I'm a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom of 6 so I don't crochet nearly enough. :hook

Oh my god that is absolutely gorgeous.. How long did it take to make?It took a week, but I was working on things in between. It wasn't difficult - I've made hundreds of doilies - I did get stuck on one round, but that's because I didn't read the directions correctly. At least I figured out my mistake while I was still on that round and not later. :hook
