My DH has been asking for an aghan just for him. Since he is a major sports fanantic I decided to highlight his favorite teams in an alternating color scheme using a square pattern that I love called Circles on the Square. This was his christmas present, but he got it a week or two late.

It works up really nice. I used all different colors of RHSS and he loves it. I asked him to be gentle so I could perhaps enter in the fair this summer and he told me to just make a new one. Ahh, I don't think so. I chose to represent the following MN sports teams. The Vikings in purple and gold, the U of MN Golden Gophers (my college) in maroon and gold, the Twins in blue and red, the Timberwolves in green and blue, the Wild in red and green, and finally the Saints in black and white. I also calls these my Zebra squares to represents the referee's in all sports.

For some reason I didn't pick up on the Gophers and I was looking at the black and white trying to figure out which team that was :lol BTW, what do you guys think of the Santana trade? :angry

We're not happy, too many changes. I don't know if it will be worth watching this season or not. I still have a few favorite players.

As much as I didn't like seeing Torii go, I'm really not surprised. He's had a lot of injuries in recent years. But I wasy very very upset to hear of trading talks for Santana. He's still doing awesome! With Radke retiring, the Twins still need to keep Santana, they need the stability he brings. And his fabulous arm.

Very nice! I like that you took each team color and did one afghan with it. great job. the square pattern is awesome.

I couldn't help but notice the Packer blanket in the background! Not everyone is a MN sports fan, huh? My son is such a big Packer fan I can't help but notice them wherever they are!
