thank you, but it only shows ideas for what to do with them... not actually how to make them :oops
aren't these called something else also - daisy maker? something? :shrug

Hi Rebecca, I think they're called "lazy daisy" or something like that. <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/scratchhead.gif" /> I've got one in my supplies someplace and I'm pretty sure I have the instructions with it. I'll try to find it tomorrow and maybe I can hook you up with how to use that little thingamajig. <img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/happy.gif" />

I just got a set of these (mine are Studio Twelve brand Flower Looms) with a box of yarn from a garage sale. Here is what I found:
http://www.mugjoint.com/closet/descriptions/free/flower.html
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=1006022608916
And this one:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v600/ladyjulianne/flowerloominst1.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v600/ladyjulianne/flowerloominst2.jpg
They're written for kids to follow, so they should make sense.
Ignore the bottom of the second page, it's about french knitting from this page: http://www.getcrafty.com/viewtopic.php?p=45352
