Hi I am looking for a crochet pattern for jimminy cricket as I am trying to make one for my 53 year old sister.Of all the disney she likes him the best please help. jean:eek

Jean, Jiminy Cricket is a copyrighted and trademarked character. In order to distribute a pattern featuring his likeness legally, a designer would need to make licensing arrangements with Disney. Unfortunately, these are very expensive and Disney will not even speak with designers unless they meet very stringent business requirements (been in business so many years, do a certain $$ level of business each year, and so on).

I am not aware of any licensed patterns of Jiminy Cricket.

While there could possibly be unlicensed versions out there somewhere, Crochetville's guidelines do not allow for links to, discussion of, hints on how to find, or any sort of information about unlicensed patterns to be shared, whether via post on the forum, Private Message, or email. This is on the advice of our intellectual property attorneys, so we can avoid any issues related to contributory trademark/copyright infringement.

I know you weren't asking for any unlicensed patterns. I just wanted to make you (and others) aware of why you probably aren't going to find any licensed patterns.

Maybe you could make one yourself? I know amazon has disney crochet patterns. Just not him though.
