Hi, again! Yes, I'm on the hunt, AGAIN :yes

Yesterday (during a blizzard, even) I went to this little store nearby that's only open during the hours I'm at work, so I never get to go. Yesterday the office was closed so I snuck over to check out the stuff. :eek Y A R N everywhere! I checked my pulse to make sure I hadn't died and gone to heaven! :manyheart

Anyway! There were two skeins of a nice light yarn, 50/50; it's called Kool Kotton, and it's in a dreamy blue that my daughter loves. Two skeins left, totaling 280 yards, 100g. I'd love to be able to make a shrug for her; she's 12 and lanky. I'm wondering if anyone might know of a pattern for a shrug that is fairly small (and easy!!) and takes a minimum of yarn? Like, lots of holes and spaces and stuff? :lol

Thanks in advance!! :hook

the holey squares shrug may be what you need.

hmm if you google holey squares shrug, or even do a search here for it.
