I've never made a mile a minute afghan. Do you sew the
rows together or are they crocheted together?
I need a pattern. Does anyone have one? It can be a
baby or an big afghan. I've got thread for both.
Thanks !

You can crochet them together, or whipstitch them together. I have a couple of mile a minute pattern books I found when I first started crocheting. It was really good practice for me. You might try searching the web for free crochet patterns mile a minute and see what comes up. The names of the sites are just escaping me now!!
When you crochet the strips together, you just turn them to where the fronts face each other (two strips to begin with, then add the next strip to the two before), and you basically do a single crochet stitch thru the back loops of both. The problem I had with mile a minute, is getting them all the same size!! But I guess if it was all the same size, it would look like machine made them! good luck, they can be lots of fun to make. :hook

Crochet Pattern Central is the site I was thinking about for the free patterns. Look at the afghan patterns and you will probably find a mile a minute afghan pattern.

The "Shades of Rose" MAM afghan is very pretty no matter what color scheme it's made in:
