My cousin's just had a baby boy today - and named him after my Uncle who passed away about 10 years ago - we are all so pleased. I gave my other cousin's afghans at their showers, but this mom wanted sex specific colors and didn't want to know the sex -- makes it hard to have one for the shower.:think

So, now I would like to get an afghan done in a hurry to send to them. I have many other projects going and not alot of time...I'd also like something a bit different. I made a star for one of the sisters, and a round ripple for the other. I like something a bit different, but am not sure what.

Any suggestions on something a bit on the different side that doesn't take oodles of time? I'm also wondering, does anyone know of a free pattern for a granny round ripple?

Thanks for your help!

This is one of my faves. I make it with two strands of Bernat baby coordinates.
