I was just surfing the web when I found this page http://www.styledash.com/2007/06/28/cratism-defacing-public-property-with-yarn-and-nitting-needles/ where crocheted and knitted objects are being used as grafitti! Boy did I have a good laugh!:laughroll:rofl

I think that's pretty funny on the handrails and such but putting on the statues and art is not my favorite thing. That could definitely ruin some tourists photo ops. Just my opinion though. But I think otherwise its pretty funny.

I loved that. Actually, I liked the wrist warmers on the statues best of all. but then I am a lawless individual (I live to jaywalk :rofl) I think they would make the most interesting vacation pics of all. Could keep the family awake during the endless slide show.

I love this stuff... wonder where I could do some of that... :think

I love it! Being in a BIG college town, (and I do mean big, as in 10) I can only wonder what the students would think if they woke up to something like this as they made their way to classes some snowy morning!!!!!hmm..........maybe you'll see me in the "funny papers" (just kiddin, maybe!) :D

Yep, it's been around for several years, I believe there was even an online news article about it that was very interesting. The link to that was floating around here for awhile, but that was a couple of years ago. It always makes me laugh when I see that stuff! Definatly the kind of graphiti we can live with!
