We love :manyheart to see photos :photo of your finished projects, and we encourage you to post them here! Please follow these guidelines when including photos in your posts:
To be considerate of our members who don't have high speed internet connections, the maximum image size allowed at Crochetville is 480 x 360 pixels. If your image is larger than that, AmyS or Donna will edit your post: the image will be removed and a link to the image will be put there in it's place with a warning about the large file size.
Hosting images: Currently, you need to host your images on your own server space. There are several places on the web where you can host photos for free! Our favorite here at Crochetville is Photobucket.com (http://photobucket.com/).
Resizing images: Please read this topic (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=41) to find out how to resize your images. We promise, it's not difficult!
Tutorial: Addi clickable thumbnail pictures using Photobucket. Click here (http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=44217) to learn how.
Bandwidth theft: If you hotlink to display an image here (or anywhere for that matter) from web space that is not your own, that is called bandwidth theft! If you have no clue what we're talking about, it is very important that you go here (http://www.knitblog.com/bandwidth-thief.htm) to read about bandwidth theft.
Respect copyright law and do not infringe upon the rights of others.
If you want to link to a photo on your server space, please be sure that you took the photo yourself. You may also use a photo taken by a friend or family member if you have their permission.
Please do not link to photos on your web space that you have taken from other sources on the internet without permission. Instead, you are welcome to provide a clickable link that will let members view the photo on its home page on the web.
Please do not link to photos that you have scanned from published sources such as books, magazines, pattern leaflets, etc.
