Hello-Wanted to show you the first two things Imade while teaching myself to crochet. I'm very proud :c9 and I must say, rather addicted to crocheting!:hook

This was the first thing I ever made! My DH wanted a blanket that was actually long enough for him-so it's enormous.

Great job! I really like the color of the first one, do you happen to remember what yarn you used? My first project has unfortunately long-since been separated from its labels, even though I still have yarn left. More reason to start that journal, but I never seem to get around to it...

Great job! I really like the color of the first one, do you happen to remember what yarn you used?

It was Red Heart's Aran Fleck. Red heart has a bunch of ddiferent colors that are flecked but they're hard to find in the store. It is a very forgiving yarn-and hide mistakes well!

Great job. I love the Aran fleck color. I used it to make hubby a scarf when I first learned how to knit.
