This is a ring I made with a crocheted wire band. I hope it's ok if I post it here since it is technically crochet!:)

I've never tried crocheting metal, but I know several people here enjoy it.
Your ring is very pretty!

Thanks! So far, I've done a bracelet and this ring with metal, and I've been really happy with the results. It can be rough on your hand if you do it too much though.

I'm glad you guys like it. I've seen other rings similar to this on craftster.org so I can't take full credit. but i just kind of did my own thing as far as how I wrapped it and everything and the crocheted band I came up with on my own. I love the look of crocheted jewelry but I don't see it much. As for gauge, I'm honestly not sure..it was florists wire that I got from joanns if that helps:P

That ring is great! i have tried crocheting with wire and i havent had the greatest success. i would really like to keep working at it though. have you been crocheting with wire long? i have seen crocheted jewelry on line also and i think its beautiful. you did a great job.
